Great natural park Topes de Collantes Great natural park Topes de Collantes, is a protected area of Cuba declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, located in the center of Cuba in an area known as Topes de Collantes, petenece to the mountain group Guamuahaya or Sierra del Escambray, in the province Cuba of Sancti Spíritus, near Trinidad and the Valley of the Sugar Mills. It is located 800 meters above sea level, located about 20 kilometers from the city of Trinidad and about 350 kilometers east of Havana. This protected area has several tourist attractions:
Salto del Caburní: the most popular trek takes place through coffee plantations, traditional farmers' homes, and cliffs ending at the Caburní River with a waterfall of 62 meters (203 feet) and a series of natural ponds .
