The José Martí International Airport ( code: IATA: HAV, code ICAO: MUHA) is located in the municipality of Boyeros, La Habana, Cuba, operated by the Cuban Company of Airports and Aeronautical Services S.A. (ECASA), better known as the Rancho Boyeros Airport.
The Rancho Boyeros airport is located 18 kilometers from Havana and is named José Martí to honor the Cuban patriot and poet. It is Cuba's main international and domestic airport, serving a large number of passengers each year, mainly from Canada, Italy, UK, Spain, Germany and France.
There are 5 terminals in use at the airport. Terminal 1 serves Cubana de Aviación domestic flights. Terminal 2 serves charter flights from Miami and Charters Corsair Airlines from France. Terminal 3 is the main and most modern terminal, serves most of the traffic and was built with Canadian assistance. Terminal 5 serves Aerocaribbean and some other charter lines. Aerovaradero is the cargo terminal, used mainly by Cargosur (Grupo Iberia) and Cubana Cargo.
